Malinda Danziger is responsible for the development and management of regional outreach programs, including alumni clubs and affinity groups.

Malinda joined the Alumni Affairs team in 2003 as the marketing & communications coordinator where she developed and implemented comprehensive marketing plans for programs including UCSD Near You, Life 101: Thinking Outside the Books, and her personal favorite, Triton Junkyard Derby, as well as wrote for the Alumni Association website, @UCSD magazine and CampusLoop e-newsletter.  Prior to joining the Alumni Affairs team, Malinda worked at two prominent San Diego-based public relations firms specializing in residential and commercial real estate, consumer products and technology.

Malinda graduated from UC San Diego’s Marshall College in 2000 with a bachelor of arts in sociology. She is married to an alumnus, Derek Danziger, ’95, from Muir College.
