Maureen Guarcello joined the UC San Diego Alumni Affairs team in 2006.  She has worked for the University of Hawaii and CSU, Long Beach, and brings close to a decade of alumni and higher education experience to UCSD.  Maureen specializes in the development and growth of alumni membership programs and contributes to the marketing efforts for alumni and student events.

When she’s not at UCSD, the Palm Springs native spends her time traveling, snowboarding and spending time with her husband Rob, a Chula Vista firefighter.  The two reside happily in Point Loma with their Boston terrier, Ziti.  Rob and Maureen are both 2001 graduates from CSU, Long Beach.  Go Beach!
