Suzi joined the Alumni Affairs team in September ’08 as the Director of Alumni Programs.  She is responsible for providing leadership and overall program strategy in planning, coordinating and executing constituent-based alumni programs for UC San Diego’s academic Divisions, units, schools, and colleges, including: Arts and Humanities, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Jacobs School of Engineering, Rady School of Management, Graduate Schools of International Relations and Pacific Studies, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the six undergraduate colleges.  In addition, she has oversight responsibility for our signature programs.

 

Suzi began in the field of alumni relations in 1989 when she first served as the Director of the Hoover High School Foundation, and later held posts at San Diego State University’s Alumni and Annual Fund programs.  She joined UCSD in 1995 as Manager of Donor Stewardship, and later joined the Office of Special Events and Protocol in 1998 where she spent ten years creating, executing, and consulting on major campus programs and milestone events.

 

Suzi is married with two teenage children.
