Kathy Sun '06
Kathy graduated from Revelle College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Immediately upon graduation, she spent some time traveling all over Europe with friends to experience the life, culture, language, and food the various countries had to offer. She loves to travel and will never turn down an opportunity to escape for a quick vacation when it arises. After attending a New Grads Mixer, Kathy eagerly joined the Los Angeles Chapter of the UCSD Alumni Association and started volunteering as the Director of Social Events. She enjoys meeting new people, especially other alumni, and is interested in helping the L.A. Chapter grow into a stronger community. Kathy also has a passion for animals, which led her to her current position as the Assistant Marketing Coordinator for Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc., a privately held company dedicated to supplying the public with premium quality dog and cat foods, as well as Zoological Formulas for many prestigious zoos and wildlife facilities around the country such as the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. Kathy is also a volunteer at Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS 3 & The Story of the Heart exhibition at the California Science Center. Her leisure time is spent baking and decorating cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts for her family and friends. Some other favorite pastimes include running, yoga, watching movies, snowboarding, relaxing at the beach, visiting museums and art galleries, and anything that can fuel her brain.

My Nguyen '99

My currently works as a Technical Consultant for Disney Consumer Products. She graduated from Thurgood Marshall in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer. Since graduation, she has traveled and worked with various clients nationally. She’s currently PMP certified and joined the alumni leadership committee as of this year. While not in front of a computer, My enjoys running, biking, visiting museums and art galleries, and of course trying new and exciting cuisines.

Marina Glazman '04

Marina graduated from Revelle College in 2004 with a BA in International Studies. She co-founded Olympia Consulting Group, a marketing consulting firm focusing on print and media strategy and currently serves as its co-president and general manager. She spent a couple post-college years in San Francisco, but is now happy to be back in her hometown of Los Angeles. Marina enjoys her strategic and marketing work for the UCSD Alumni Association; she also serves as VP on the board of Equity for Impact, a socially-conscious joint-venture investment group, and is dedicated to her position as a Legislative Ambassador for the American Cancer Society. Marina’s off-duty time is spent salsa dancing, hiking, sampling international cuisine, and watching movies.

Samantha Duenas '06

Samantha Duenas proudly represents the UCSD Alumni Association as the Director of Affairs for the Los Angeles Chapter. A 2006 graduate from Revelle College, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Upon graduation, the native Angeleno returned to her hometown to pursue the entertainment industry. She spent a year as a full-time professional dancer, working with numerous music artists both on live tours and on television. Now Samantha is employed as a Distribution Coordinator at National Promotions and Advertising, a leading firm in alternative outdoor advertising. When not at work, she can be found singing with up and coming hip hop band DDL Roundhouse. She also loves live music shows, sports, fashion, art, traveling, and trying anything that sounds new and challenging.

A. Cyrus Arman '03

Cyrus graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology. He stayed in La Jolla for two years after graduation and worked at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Cyrus is looking forward to supporting the UCSD Alumni Association in the coming years.

Juni Emi Campbell ‘03

Juni graduated from Warren College in 2003 with a B.A. in Economics and Chinese Studies.  She currently enjoys her work as an international sales manager in the housewares industry.  Since graduation, Juni worked in San Diego for a couple of years before moving to the West Indies.  After a couple years of limin’ and working under the Caribbean sun, she and her husband decided to move back to Southern California and are currently living in Los Angeles.  In her spare time, Juni indulges in her passion for food and cooking.  Some of her favorite activities include visiting farmers markets, museums, art galleries and performances, watching indie and foreign movies, yoga, and of course, sampling the chocolates that her husband make.  This will be Juni’s first year as a leader for the L.A.
