Triton Junkyard Derby
May 16-18, 2007

START YOUR ENGINES FOR THE
4TH ANNUAL TRITON JUNKYARD DERBY!
30 teams tested the laws of physics and mechanics in the fourth annual Triton Junkyard Derby! The Junkyard Derby is a boxcar competition and a growing UCSD student and alumni tradition, presented by the UCSD Alumni Association and the Triton Engineering Student Council (TESC).
The competition is based on the popular show, "Junkyard Wars," on The Learning Channel. Competitors scour the UCSD junkyard with only two days to build a perfect boxcar, or anything capable of making it to the finish line!
