EVENT DETAILS:
The UC San Diego Dance Marathon (DM10) is hosted by the Student Foundation as a student-run philanthropic event highlighting student donations to our community and the importance of giving back. Initiated by trustees of the Student Foundation, the 10-hour dance event unites college students, alumni, staff, faculty and community members around the importance of giving back to our community.
Trustees of the Student Foundation recognized that young people of all ages need assistance, whether it is medical, financial or emotional. In order to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood, funds from DM10 will be split equally between the UCSD Student Foundation scholarship fund, serving UCSD undergraduates, and a designated organization dedicated to youth. DM10 is proud to announce its 2010 partner, UCSD AIDS Research Institute.
