"The award winning chef & founder of San Diego's Saffron restaurant, Su-Mei Yu, will be at The Great Hall – Eleanor Roosevelt College, November 12 at 6:00 pm to discuss and sign her new book, The Elements of Life: A Contemporary Guide to Thai Recipes and Traditions for Healthier Living.
In her new book Su-Mei Yu explains the age-old Thai philosophy of diet and health, with meals planned around the “home elements”: earth, water, wind and fire. Here she gives information and recipes to prepare meals in order to promote better physical, emotional and spiritual health. She also shows beauty treatments geared to your home element, that will help you to relax and feel renewed."
