Ever wonder what happened to all your friends from Muir College? Here's your chance to find out. As Muir College celebrates its 40th anniversary, we invite you to come back, get reacquainted with UC San Diego, reminisce, and enjoy a day of reunion activities planned just for you.

The day's festivities are dedicated in memoriam to Muir's founding Provost, John Stewart and will include:

* Welcome Back Morning Reception featuring the UCSD Pep Band!

* Back to Class: UC San Diego faculty perspectives on issues today featuring economics professor Joel Watson, Muir '88 and history professor Paul Pickowicz

* Welcome Back Luncheon with Chancellor Marye Anne Fox and keynote address by 2005 Alumni Awards for Excellence honoree and internationally acclaimed science fiction author Kim Stanley Robinson, Muir '74, Ph.D. '82

* Family Fun Zone with games and eco-friendly crafts

* Traditional TG-on-the-Hump beer garden

* Special discount coupons for alumni-logo gear

As we begin a year-long celebration of this milestone and honor the legacy of namesake, John Muir, we also invite you to participate in our "giving 40 birthday gifts to help preserve our environment" campaign.
