EVENT DETAILS:
The UJIMA Network and the 2008 Black History Month Planning Committee invite you to attend the Sixth Annual UCSD Black History Month Scholarship Brunch.
Keynote speaker: Dr. Clifton Davis - actor, singer, composer and producer. Davis is best known for his five-year stint as Reverend Ruben Gregory on the popular TV series, Amen. Most recently, Davis appeared in the Disney films Halloweentown High and the soon to be released independent film, Bagels, Lox and Hamhocks.
Join us on February 23 for a soul food brunch, performances by local community choirs, and a Silent Auction with proceeds to directly benefit undergraduate scholarships. Additionally, outstanding African American undergraduate and graduate students will be recognized for stellar academic achievement.
