Apparently our peripatetic Geisel library is
at it again. In our January issue we reported sightings in a Kohler
commercial and as a spaceship in Attack
of the Killer Tomatoes . Pat JaCoby, director of University
Outreach and indefatigatible newshound, has updated us with new
sightings in the movie Hairy Tale starring Matthew Modine
and in Paycheck starring Ben Affleck.
The library is also
apparently shamelessly flaunting itself in a Nissan commercial
and a Honda brochure. Karin Griffin, '89, writes that she has seen
it
in episodes of Simon and Simon and Mission Impossible .
John Dorman, '85, says he has spotted it “as background in an
episode of the original Star Trek series.”
So where to next? Since
Geisel's mission is obviously to boldly go where no library has
ever gone before, keep your eyes on those screens.
