Since the launch of the campaign in July 2000, more than 21,000
alumni have shown an unwavering commitment to UCSD, contributing
in excess of $12 million. In fact, an impressive thirty percent
of the donors to The Campaign for UCSD: Imagine What’s Next are UCSD alumni.
Whether creating endowed scholarships and fellowships for the students
following in their footsteps or making gifts each year to the University’s
Annual Fund, donations from alumni at all levels make a lasting
impact on campus. Together, our alumni are making a stronger UCSD
for future generations.
UCSD graduated its 100,000th student this June, adding to a growing
and powerful base of alumni. By making a donation to UCSD, alumni
can play an important role in shaping their alma mater and keeping
it at the forefront of academic and research excellence. Donors
can designate their gifts to help support students and faculty,
expand academic programs, fund research endeavors and strengthen
innovation funds to meet the highest priority needs. Alumni gifts to the University—whether annual gifts or pledges
payable over five years—will also help make The Campaign
for UCSD a success. To date, the campaign has
generated more than $746 million toward the $1 billion goal, but
there is still more than $254 million to raise before the campaign
concludes in June 2007. To learn more about how you can invest
in the future of UCSD, please visit us online at www.campaign.ucsd.edu

made donations to UCSD since the launch of The Campaign for UCSD:
Imagine What’s Next in July 2000.
