Are you a ten yet? If not, here’s a new way to network and
stay connected. UCSD Triton
Enterprise Network (TEN) launched its first event in Los Angeles
on March 29. Jeff Chao, ’02, president of UCSD TEN, Los Angeles,
says that some 30 people attended and listened to speakers from
the automotive industry talking about industry trends and personal
stories of entrepreneurship. UCSD TEN is already established in
the Bay Area, where its latest meeting on April 27 profiled “skills
for a demanding business world.” Both TENs hold quarterly
events featuring speakers as a way to share stories, get inspired
and learn professional development tools. The events also provide
a chance for alumni to network within both the Los Angeles and
Bay Area business communities. The next L.A. event is on July 27,
and will focus on community and politics. For more on both UCSD
TENs go to: http://alumni.ucsd.edu/chapters/index.htm.
