UCSD
Libraries: Creating the Library of the Future
What first comes to mind when you think about the UCSD Libraries?
Late night study sessions during exam week? Desperate quests for
data to support a claim you made in a research paper? Or simply
the awe you felt the first time you saw the Geisel Library looming
on the campus landscape?
Known nationally for its distinctive collections, the UCSD Libraries
are an important source of inspiration and enlightenment for
our talented students, educators, scientists and artists.
In order to meet growing demand
for its services, the UCSD Libraries depend on
private donations. Support through The
Campaign has helped the Libraries expand collections and strengthen
programs for a community that is hungry for information and
information technology.
For as little as $100, a volume
can be added to the shelves. A gift of $10,000 or more, paid over
five years, can establish
a named collections endowment that
will provide permanent funding for new
materials. For more information, please contact the UCSD
Libraries Development Office at (858) 822-4554 or email bbrink@ucsd.edu.
