Marco Murillo, Marshall ’08, the new associated student president, is no stranger to academic outreach. The San Ysidro native and first-generation college student commuted 90 minutes daily to UCSD’s Preuss School where he regularly interacted with college students. MORE

Year in Review
UCSD Athletics won the California Collegiate Athletic Association division’s Commissioner’s Cup and took second place in the United States Sports Academy Division II Director’s Cup for best overall athletics department in the nation. MORE

Love of the Game
Ramesh Thondapu, Muir ’08, helped take the men’s tennis team to the NCAA D-II national semifinals. MORE

Head over Heels
Diver Corinne Hieatt, Sixth ’10, is a member of the women’s swim and dive team, which captured a third-place national finish for the fifth consecutive year.

Clearing Hurdles
Hurdler Laiah Blue, Marshall ’08, below, led the UCSD women’s track and field squad to an eighth place national finish in the spring. MORE
