“When I approached Chuao Chocolatier to develop Rady branded chocolate to use as speaker and visitor gifts, I realized the CEO and chocolatier were both UCSD alumni,” says Kennedy. The Carlsbad-based specialty chocolate maker was founded by Richard, Muir ’84, and Michael Antonorsi, Muir ’85. Michael Antonorsi is a Certified French Chef from the École Supéríeure de Cuísíne Francaíse Ferrandi in Paris, where he also completed specialized training in pastry and chocolate making at the École Lenotre. His brother, entrepreneur Richard Antonorsi, manages the business affairs of Chuao Chocolatier. Both brothers are originally from Venezuela, and most recently successfully started up Venezuela’s first computer and wireless networking company.

create co-branded packaging for the school’s use, which featured ‘a recipe for success’ highlighting the UCSD connection,” says Michael Antonorsi.
