Four Health Sciences faculty members will speak about their current work, future initiatives, and the pioneering efforts of founding faculty that paved the way.

Biological Sciences Nobel Laureate Lecture

UCSD biology pioneer Susumu Tonegawa, Ph.D. ’68, received the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1987 for his discovery of the genetic mechanism that produces antibody diversity. Join us for this fascinating lecture by UCSD's only Nobel Prize-winning alumnus! The event is open to the public and will be followed by a brief question and answer session.

The reception will include a special presentation of the David M. Bonner Lifetime Achievement Award to Nobel Laureate Susumu Tonegawa, Ph.D. ’68.
