Some restrictions apply*. This is a Level 4  privilege at UC San Diego, which includes regular checkout services.

To access your library borrowing privileges, bring your UCSD Alumni card(or verification form if you have not yet received your card) to the main circulation desk at Geisel Library. You will be asked to complete a short application form, show proof of residency and provide two forms of identification.

Primary identification includes:
  • California Driver's License
  • California identification card
  • Current passport with photograph
  • Second form of identification could include:
  • Major credit card
  • Social Security card

* Restrictions include inter-library loan service and Medline access. Due to strict licensing agreements, UC alumni must be on campus to access licensed electronic journals and databases.
