Event Details


Dr. Bruce Beutler graduated with a B.A. in Biology from UC San Diego in 1976 at the age of 18.  In 2011 Bruce and fellow scientist Jules Hoffmann were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their revolutionary work in innate immunity.   

Join us for this special evening where Bruce will share reflections from his personal and inspirational journey from UCSD to Stockholm, and discuss the implications that his work will have on the development of prevention and therapy against infections, cancer and inflammatory diseases.
