The mission of the UC San Diego Chicanx Latinx Alumni Council is to positively represent the university's Chicanx Latinx alumni community and foster a sense of connection among alumni and current Chicanx Latinx students at UC San Diego.

The group assists students in achieving academic and social success, and supports outreach, recruitment and retention efforts. They work closely with the San Diego Foundation to award student scholarships, support the annual Raza Graduation, organize social events in the community and support UC system-wide efforts to strengthen student-alumni engagement.
