Black Alumni Council
UC San Diego’s Black Alumni Council is a volunteer-led affinity group supported by UC San Diego Alumni Relations. We are committed to increasing campus diversity at UC San Diego and improving social justice in the wider San Diego community or wherever our graduates reside.
Mission
The ongoing mission of the Council is to positively and proactively represent UC San Diego’s Black alumni and to foster a sense of community and connection amongst alumni and current students. We foster community through professional development and networking opportunities, social gatherings, and philanthropy through our flagship program.

Scholarship and Diversity
Create meaningful change by donating to the UC San Diego UJIMA Network Black History Month Scholarship Endowment (K4036). Your gift will support undergraduate students demonstrating academic and creative achievement in the study of African Americans, their history and culture. Alumni and friends interested in supporting this diversity initiative are invited to make a gift.
