UC Library Privileges
UC San Diego alumni have complimentary access to the UC library system at San Diego, Berkeley, Davis, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz upon registration. Some restrictions apply*. This includes checkout services at UC San Diego.
How to request your community borrower card
Online
- Take a screenshot of your digital Triton Alumni Card and save it to your device. If you have not downloaded your Triton Alumni Card, please request your card and a member of the Alumni Relations office will be in contact with further instructions.
- Open the UC Library community borrower card request form.
- On page 2 of the form, you will be prompted to upload an alumni verification document. Upload your saved screenshot and complete the rest of the form.
- The library will contact you within one business day once your status has been verified.
In-Person
Present your Triton Alumni Card and Photo ID at the library to request your community borrower card.
If you do not have a smartphone, please contact alumni@ucsd.edu to request a PDF alumni verification letter.
