Dominique Cano-Stocco ’94, MAS ’11

Dominique Cano-Stocco serves as the Executive Director of External and Government Affairs for Verizon in Southern California. For more than 20 years, she has worked in public affairs in such diverse organizations as the White House, U.S. Department of Transportation, UC San Diego, Pepperdine University and Oceana. She has a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's in advanced studies in marine biodiversity and conservation from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She is committed to conserving the world's oceans, currently serving on the Board for Wildcoast and is a member of the Chancellor’s Community Advisory Board.
Over the years, Dominique has been a big supporter of her alma mater and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, serving as a volunteer Advisory Committee member for Scripps master’s degree capstone projects. She is a dedicated leader in identifying career opportunities for current students and recent graduates, while offering guidance to fellow volunteers looking to give back.
Jeff Fenton ’80

Jeff Fenton is a Sr. Staff Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst in Lockheed Martin’s Corporate Information Security group, where he leads cybersecurity policy and supports security education and compliance. In 1980 he graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in economics (minoring in mathematics and history), followed by advanced degrees in economics and operations research from Stanford University and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
Jeff became a member of UC San Diego’s Athletics Board in 2009 and served on the Alumni Board of Directors from 2013 to 2020. In 2015, Jeff helped the university launch the feasibility study that led to elevating the UC San Diego Athletics program to NCAA Division I status. Jeff also served as President of the Silicon Valley Regional Alumni Club and continues to serve on its steering committee. Since 2012, he has volunteered his time to foster outreach, professional development and networking opportunities for fellow Tritons living in the Bay Area.
Carl Tsang ’05

Carl Tsang graduated from UC San Diego in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cellular biology. In 2017, he founded ARYTE Bioscience, LLC, where he is Director of Laboratory Services. His leadership in the workplace is reflected in his extensive community service to UC San Diego.
Over the years, Carl has offered guidance to young alumni looking for ways to give back through a variety of volunteer and fundraising efforts. His own record of service at UC San Diego includes: Vice President of Alumni Engagement, Alumni Board of Directors member (2016-2020) and former Chair and current Philanthropy Lead/Council member of the Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Council (active member/leader since 2015). Carl has served on the Executive Committee of the Chancellors Associates Young Alumni, and is a member and former President of the San Diego chapter of the UC San Diego Regional Club.
