Danielle Aron graduated from UC San Diego Eleanor Roosevelt College in 2017 with BAs in both economics and political science: international relations. While at UC San Diego, she was passionate about student philanthropy and made a home for herself in the Student Foundation, serving as president her senior year. She then decided to pursue her master's and graduated with an MA in global development economics from Boston University in 2020. Danielle lives in D.C., and works at UC Washington Center (UCDC) as a data analyst. She also had prior experience at the World Bank, Poverty and Equity Global Practice. Nishant Begani graduated with a BS in Mathematics-Computer Science and Data Science from Sixth College. With an educational background in tech and his role in Product Management, he lives in the intersection of problem solving and scaling and growing corporate products. He currently works as a Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase in New York, where he focuses on ACH payments. Nishant is also an active member of the UC San Diego New York Alumni board, helping connect Tritons across the city. As a UC San Diego transfer student and athlete, Jeff graduated in 2017 with a degree in international studies - economics. Jeff was also a member of the UC San Diego rowing team. He currently works in San Diego at Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consultancy firm, where he leads a project team specialized in analytics, forecasting and visualization. Jose Gonzalez was a transfer student and earned a BS in public health from UC San Diego in 2020. Jose participated in the UC Washington Center (UCDC) program. He secured an internship in the office of then-California Senator Kamala Devi Harris. After graduating, Jose helped with the COVID-19 response on campus while serving in the activated Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Jose moved to NYC in 2022 to pursue a Master of public health at The City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy. Jose returned home to San Diego, California and currently works at UC San Diego Health. As a first-generation college student, Jose is deeply committed to paying it forward and inspiring others. Priya graduated in 2020 with a BS in bioinformatics and minors in computer science and business and earned her MEng in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley. Priya currently works at Disney as a software engineer, working on the Ad platform technology team. During her time at UC San Diego, she was involved with undergraduate research in bioinformatics focused on gene expression and actively volunteered at campus events through the UC San Diego Volunteer50 organization. Derek received his Bachelor of Arts in political science (international relations) and economics, and a minor in business in 2019 from UC San Diego. He is currently a strategic finance associate at Building Hope, a nonprofit in Washington D.C. His experience also includes being investment banking associate at Morgan Stanley. During his time at UC San Diego, he was an AVP for Associated Students, a student representative for the Committee for International Education, on the board for the Interfraternity Council and an executive member for the school’s Dragon Boat team. Priyanka Mishra received her master's in computer science with a specialization in machine learning at Columbia University and bachelor's in mathematics-computer science from UC San Diego. She is currently working as a software engineer within the Cloud and AI org at Microsoft. At UC San Diego, she was actively involved as Dean's Intern, IEEE Social chair, Student council member and participated in various capacities with different student organizations. Rashma Saini is the PhD program coordinator in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC San Diego, where she supports doctoral students and helps manage academic programming, departmental operations and student success initiatives. She earned her BS in developmental psychology from UC San Diego’s John Muir College in 2022 and continues to stay connected to the campus community through her professional and volunteer work. Simone Singh is a 2019 UC San Diego graduate from Eleanor Roosevelt College and holds a BA in political science and sociology. Simone is based in New York City and is a seasoned communicator, strategist and digital marketer who currently works as a communications manager at Dentsu, a Tokyo-based advertising agency. On a day-to-day basis, Simone develops product marketing solutions, engages employees and helps launch business strategies for the company. Amy earned a BS in physiology and neuroscience with a minor in business from UC San Diego's Roosevelt College in 2020. Her favorite memories on campus include working at the California Smokers Helpline, providing mentorship to first-generation scholars in the Triton Community Leadership Institute and Student Support Services Program and going to La Jolla Shores in between classes. It was through her experience with UC San Diego's Academic Internship Program that she discovered her passion for research in neuroscience. Amy is now working at UCLA as a PhD Candidate studying the effects of neuromodulation on brain connectivity patterns related to sensory information processing. Anthony Tseng is a Software Engineer at Amazon where he builds out website experiences promoting customer engagement with Amazon Devices. He graduated from Warren with a computer science degree in 2019; during his time on campus he was an active leader in the Student Foundation and Student Alumni Associates, facilitating student philanthropy and student-alumni engagement. Nate Wilbanks graduated in 2018 with a degree in international studies from Eleanor Roosevelt College. Nate began with Annual Giving at UC San Diego as a development assistant and later was promoted to Stewardship Manager. Nate currently serves as the Alumni Director of Social Sciences, where he leads the pipeline development and engagement efforts in identifying and cultivating the division’s next generation of donors and volunteers.
