UC Library Privileges

UC San Diego alumni have complimentary access to the UC library system at San Diego, Berkeley, Irvine, Davis, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz upon registration. Some restrictions apply*. This includes checkout services at UC San Diego.

How to Request Library Access

To request a UC San Diego Alumni verification email for library borrowing privileges, contact (858) 534-3900 or email us at alumni@ucsd.edu.

Once you have the verification email, please request a Community Borrower Card and include the verification.
